Free Mustache Rides

I'm growing a handlebar mustache. For those of you who dont know, it's one of those mustaches that bikers have that continue in a straight line down to your chin; sort of like an upside-down U-joint of hair resting above your upper lip. My reasons for attempting to grow one are varied, but the main one is that I think it would be funny. The problem is that it's only funny to people whom I know; for the rest of the population it would be like a face-beacon saying, "I might rob you at knife-point."

So I'm left to measure how amusing this would be against the fact that I don't wish the girl at the Kum & Go to make fun of me when I leave the store and increase the already formidable amount of casual sex I don't have.
